Structure of the present tense
Present indefinite tense- it has four forms
- affirmative sentence
- negative sentence
- Interrogative sentence - affirmative
- Interrogative sentence - negative
Affirmatives Sentence
Rule- Plural noun (I, we, you, they) - will come with first form of the verb
- Singular noun (he, she, it) – Will come with first form of the verb with “s” or “es” like (work-works)
- I go to school.
- They come to my home.
- We go to temple.
- I love my country.
Singular number
- She goes to school.
- He loves his country very much.
- It works.
Negative sentence
- “Do not” with plural noun ( I,we,you,they)
- “does not” with singular noun.(He,she,it)
- I do not go there.
- They do not come here.
- You do not listen me.
- I do not like them.
Singular
- She does not like him.
- He does not go to market.
- It doesn’t work nicely
- She doesn’t dance.

These sentence starts with “wh” words (what, where, when, who, how )
Do, does + subject + first form of the verb

- if the sentence is negative in both condition singular or plural main verb ( do, does ) will come with "not" Example

- Do they not go to school regularly?
